DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – The Newberry College cheer team sent two squads to nationals for the first time in Program history. Both teams finished around the top 10 in the finals this afternoon.
 
The Intermediate Division II Co-Ed team finished in 11^th place with an event score of 89.1436 and a raw score of 80.9667.
 
The Spirit Rally team finished in the top ten taking ninth place in the Spirit Rally division with a 86.4374 event score and a raw score of 86.7.
