The #8 ranked Newberry College women's field hockey team (14-3, 10-3) hosts Converse Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Setzler Field.
The Wolves are tied with Limestone for first place in the South Atlantic Conference heading into the regular season finale.
If both teams win Saturday and end up in a tie, the Wolves will earn the number one seed and host the SAC Postseason Tournament semifinals and finals at Setzler Field Friday, November 9 and Sunday, November 11.
A win Saturday would break the school record for most wins in a season and tie the mark for most conference victories in a season set by last year's team (14-4, 11-3).
Head coach
Hannah Dave won her 80
th game as Newberry coach back in a 4-0 win over Belmont Abbey last Saturday.
