Freshman Addie Davis, last week's South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, finished 29^th at the 2024 SAC Championships at Johnson Farm in Newberry to pace the Wolves' cross-country teams.

Her time of 23:28.58 over the 6,000-meter course is the second-best time for a Newberry College women's cross-country runner over that distance.

Sophomore Tyler Shumate led the men with a time of 27:17.78 over the 8,000-meter course to finish in 43^rd place. 

The Wolves men finished in 10^th place while the women finished in 11^th.

Other men's results included Tavarian Thompson (57^th, 28:10.02), Drew Benson (61^st, 28:25.55), Jonah Wendland (70^th, 29:22.83 ), Rodney Miller (77^th, 29:59.61 ), Larry Scott (78^th, 30:02.68), Sullivan Smith (87^th, 31:06.92), Jacob Johnson (88^th, 31:09.73), Braylon Reier (92^nd,  31:52.45) and De'Angelo Hibbert (101^st, 35:59.95).

Other women's results included Ruby Hansen (74^th, 27:12.79), Kwamia Russell (80^th, 27:48.03), Isabelle Curry (86^th, 28:49.83), Isabel Farup, 96^th,32:05.24) and Mia Dionisio (99^th, 34:07.37).

The two teams will compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet in Spartanburg November 9.
