This week's South Carolina Army National Guard Players of the Week are senior forward
Tamsin Bangert (Johannesburg, South Africa) and junior linebacker
Devron Williams (Strom Thurmond).
Bangert had four points in the Wolves' 3-0 win over Mayville with a goal and two assists. She has five goals and seven assists for 17 points this season and is the program's all-time leader with 33 goals and 23 assists for 89 points including eight career game winning goals in her 66 career games at Newberry.
Williams led the Wolves' defense with six total tackles including five solo stops as the Wolves won at Catawba 21-17. Williams helped lead the Newberry defense to hold the Indians to just 273 yards after coming into the game averaging 441 yards per game. Catawba had just 46 yards passing after compiling 231 yards the previous week against Limestone.
