RECAP: Newberry Women's Soccer delivered a commanding performance in their 9-0 victory over Allen. The Wolves dominated from start to finish, outshooting Allen 30-4. Four of Newberry's nine goals came in the first half, setting the tone for the match. The team's relentless attack and solid defense left no room for a response from Allen, as Newberry cruised to an impressive win.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Newberry got the goal scoring started early, notching a goal in the 3' from Lilly Miller, assisted by Kirsty Cameron.

  • Keeping the ball rolling, the Wolves put another goal in the back of the net in the 18' from Cameron, assisted by keeper Aubrey Cripe.

  • Two more Newberry goals came in the first half. The first being in the 34' off a shot from Becca Lipp, assisted by Sandra Brennan. The second goal came from Bella Gonzales, unassisted in the 38'. 4-0 Wolves at half.

  • The Wolves took no time to slow down. They started the second half with goals in the 60' and 62' by Cameron and Jenna Bartorelli, assisted by Emily Castaneda and Dana Johnson, 6-0.

  • From the 80' to 90' the Wolves piled on another three goals. Scored by Brennan, Brooke Davis (Assisted by Kelsey Brustuen), and Miller. 

  • The Wolves closed out the match with a 9-0 win.
