Wolves Fall to Eagles in Scrappy Nightcap

NEWBERRY – The Newberry College men's soccer program fell to Carson-Newman in a scrappy match 1-0 Saturday night at the Smith Rd. Complex.

Jacob Cotton had seven saves on the night for the Wolves. Freshmen Seraphin Guetan and Jose Puente each had two shots on goal for the evening.

The Eagles scored the lone goal in the first half.

The Wolves (2-4-2, 1-3-2 SAC) will hit the road Wednesday afternoon, as they will travel to Hartsville, S.C., to take on the Cobras of Coker University. That match will kick off at 4:30 p.m.
