Wolves Set to Finish Saturday Evening Hosting the Eagles

NEWBERRY – The Newberry College men's soccer team will be the back end of a soccer doubleheader Saturday at the Smith Rd. Complex against the Eagles of Carson-Newman University Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.  
 
The Wolves are coming off a 3-0 loss to Wingate Wednesday afternoon at the Smith Rd. Complex.
Scouting the Wolves

  • The Wolves enter Saturday's match with a 2-3-2 overall record and a 1-2-2 SAC mark.
  • The Wolves' offensive attack is led by freshman wing Seraphin Guetan, and senior striker Uriel Zarracan. Both Guetan, and Zarracan have six points on the season. Zarracan leads the Wolves with three goals, while Guetan has two goals and two assists on the season.
 Scouting the Eagles
  • The Eagles come in with a 3-3-2 overall record and a 1-2-1 SAC mark. Carson-Newman comes off a 2-2 tie at Mars Hill Wednesday evening.

The Eagles offensive attack is led by graduate midfielder Thomas De Graaw, and sophomore forward Ben Dukes. De Graaw and Dukes has seven points on the season. Dukes leads the team with two goals on the year
