Box Score NEWBERRY - The Newberry College Women's Soccer team opened up their season Friday (Sept. 1) as they defeated the Pacers 1-0 at the Smith Rd. Complex.

The Wolves would score the lone goal of the game with 8:53 to go in the first half as Kirsty Cameron would connect from the left side of the field. 

Both teams would go back and forth in the second half but none would put the ball in the back of the net. 

The Wolves will be back in action this Sunday (Sept. 3) as they will travel to Florence, S.C., to take on the Patriots of Francis Marion. The Match kicks off at 5:00 p.m.
