NEWBERRY – The Newberry College men's soccer team (1-0-1) hits the road for Alabama today as they visit the University of Montevallo Falcons (0-3). Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET.
Scouting the Wolves:
• The Wolves earned a 3-3 tie in their most recent outing against Catawba last Saturday with a three-goal second-half.
• Junior
Xavi Jul scored his first collegiate goal to open the scoring for Newberry in that game.

Seraphin Guetan scored his second goal in as many games against Catawba to place him in a tie for the team-lead in goals with
Ethan Orozco.
• Senior
Uriel Zarracan scored the equalizer in the 65th minute for the Wolves.
Scouting the Falcons:
• Montevallo is coming off a 2-1 loss at home in its last game against North Georgia.
• Branko Buljan Ivelich scored the lone goal for the Falcons, with the assist credited to Julio Rojo.
• Four players on the Falcons have scored a goal this season: Buljan Ivelich, Rojo, Michael Milliron and Joshua Owens.
• Tomas Valles Gilbert has given up nine goals in three games with a .640 save percentage, presenting a favorable opportunity for Newberry.
