Newberry, SC - After a pair of non-conference weekend road trips that saw Newberry end with a 3-1 record, the Scarlet and Gray begin their conference slate on Saturday, September 18th as they head to Belmont, NC to take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders. The match is scheduled to start at noon at Alumni Field on the campus of Belmont Abbey College. The Wolves will then return to South Carolina and will play their home opener the following day against Coker at 4 PM at Setzler Field.

The Wolves enter the weekend on a three match winning streak as well as a three match shutout streak, the latter being the longest in school history.

Heading the Scarlet and Gray's attack is sophomore Lily Drury with three goals. Just behind her is Rachel Crowder and a pair of talented freshmen in Tamsin Bangert and Yasmin De Meyer with three goals apiece.

Between the posts, Grace Lee leads the conference in save percentage, goals against average, and shutouts. She is also ranked 2nd nationally in save percentage.
