GAFFNEY – The Newberry men's tennis team fell to Limestone Monday after noon 4-2 at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center.
The Wolves (6-5) gone their lone double win as
Edison Ambarzumjan and
Enrico Haas defeated Marcel Agbegne and Pierluigi Neri with a 6-0 victory.
Jose Navarro and
Sean Nguyen were edged out by Federico Garnier and Sacha Terrizzano 7-5.
Ambarzumjan was able to get Newberry a win at singles action, defeating Garnier with 7-5, 6-3. Navarro defeated Agbegne 6-2, 6-1.
Alex Amble had a tough first set against Neri, falling 7-6. Neri closed out the match in the second set 6-2.
