Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Newberry College suffered defeat at the hands of top-ranked Millersville, 9-0, Sunday afternoon at Biemesderfer Stadium.
The Wolves only mustered four total shots, two on target, during the match. Sophomore Courtlyn Warren led the team with three total shots, two on target. Caitlyn Warren recorded one shot for the Scarlet and Grey.
Millersville received scoring from nine different players, including Rachel Dickinson who also added two assists for the Marauders.
The Wolves utilized both goaltenders for the fourth time this season as Mary Greco received the nod in the cage recording 14 saves, while her counterpart Dakota Elzy managed three saves in 21 minutes of action. The 17 combined saves matches a season high, which was previously accomplished against Bloomsburg on September 14.
Newberry is back in action on Saturday as they host Virginia Wesleyan at noon, in the first of five games at home for the Wolves.
