Box Score LOUISVILLE, Ky – Sophomore Courtlyn Warren tallied two goals for the Wolves on Saturday afternoon in a 6-3 loss to the Bellarmine Knights.
The Wolves held a 2-1 advantage after the first 35 minutes but yielded five second half goals to the Knights in the loss.
Warren notched her first goal of the match of a deflection in front of frame in the 25th minute to tie the match at one goal apiece. Sophomore Kaitlyn Willard tallied her lone goal 10 minutes later from a Meghan Smiga pass to give the Scarlet and Gray a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
Bellarmine added four goals in the first twelve minutes of half number two to take a 5-2 lead before Willard played a penalty corner into Warren who slotted her second goal of the match and third of the season.
The Wolves return to action next Sunday October 19 as they play host to Lindenwood at noon from historic Setzler Field in Newberry.
