MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Newberry sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Cox (Perth, Western Australia, Australia) recorded 11 saves in a 1-0 loss on the road against Georgia College on Thursday night.

Georgia College (7-7-1) controlled the match from the opening whistle, but the Wolves (5-7-3) defense held their own during the opening period keeping the Bobcats off the board.

In the second period Georgia College was finally able to breakthrough when Ally Barys scored the would-be game winner in the 59th minute.

The Bobcats outshot the Wolves 24-0 and also out earned Newberry 7-2 in corner kicks.

Newberry hits the road once again on Monday as the Wolves travel to Due West for a showdown against Erskine at 4 p.m.
