Oakland Tennis Center

Completed in January 2018, the Oakland Tennis Center replaced the Cannon Tennis Courts as the home of Wolves' tennis. Located adjacent to the Oakland Mill property that now houses Newberry students, the Oakland Tennis Center features six hard courts and three hybrid clay courts, all equiped with LED lighting. A pro shop and restrooms are located on site and bleachers provide a great viewing experience for Newberry fans.

The $1.6 million project was financed without taxpayer dollars. The city-owned park received the Parks Excellence Award as the best renovation of a South Carolina park in a city of 30,000 residents or fewer.
