Senior Spotlight: Selice Daley

Due to the cancelation of the rest of the spring season, Newberry College is honoring the seniors from our spring sports who were not able to be recognized on Senior Day.

Selice was a three-year member of the softball team, transferring to Newberry from USC-Upstate. In her three years at Newberry, Selice finished with a 22-10 record with 14 complete games, 217 strikeouts and an opponent's batting average of .211. Earlier this spring, she threw a no-hitter and perfect game in the same week.

Major: Psychology with a concentration in Forensics, minors in sociology and social work

Favorite Team Memory: When we were at Converse and a crackhead wave came over all of us during hackey and we played Pterodactyl. Kenzie caught a hackey with her knees and everyone got hit in the face at least once with the hackey.

Post Graduation Plans: Plans to attend Georgia Southern University for a Masters in Education in Clinical Counseling on Mental Health Disorders.
