Catawba upends Lady Indians at home

NEWBERRY, S.C. – Catawba College swept Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference tennis action Thursday afternoon at the Cannon Courts. Catawba took men’s action without losing a set 9-0, while Catawba gave up a default match in number-six singles and won 7-1 in women’s action.

Catawba hosts USC Aiken Friday at 4 p.m. at the Johnson Tennis Center Newberry’s Lady Indians travel to Converse College next Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Newberry men travel to Clinton to take on Presbyterian College next Friday at 3 p.m.
