#30 PC wins share of SAC crown with home win over NewberryNC Sports Information April 15, 2003 CLINTON, S.C. - The #30-ranked Presbyterian College women's tennis team clinched a share of the 2003 South Atlantic Conference regular season title with today's 9-0 victory over Newberry College at PC's Templeton Courts. Presbyterian (15-4, 5-1 SAC) win a share of their fourth straight SAC regular season title since it's inception prior to the 2000 season. The Blue Hose will tie Wingate University and Tusculum College for the title if the Pioneers defeat Mars Hill College in their regular season finale. The Blue Hose led 3-0 after doubles and went on to win all six singles flights in straight sets on their way to their 15th win of the season.
